Ranveer and Dhruvika went towards car but got shocked seeing the tyres puncture.
"Oo God how?" Dhruvika exclaimed in shock .
Ranveer was also equally tensed. It's night 11 and they need to leave.
It's not safe here.But how.
Suddenly the couple came towards them
"Aree Dhruvika beta , Ranveer you are still here" the women spoke
"Wo aunty...our car got puncture" Dhruvika spoke hasitatly
The men looked at it and spoke "ab kya koroge .. it's not safe to stay here. And neither any mechanic will come....why don't you go with us to our home"
Dhruvika hasitat before looking at Ranveer who nodded.. it's actually safe idea.
"Ye raha humara chhota sa ghar," the old woman said, welcoming Dhruvika and Ranveer into her humble abode.
Dhruvika smiled warmly, "It's cozy, actually." She stood beside her husband, who was taking in their surroundings, his eyes scanning the simple yet tidy space.
The old woman's face lit up with a gentle smile, "If you say so." She paused before asking, "I have made kachori... let me bring them, and then you can sleep after eating them."
Dhruvika's eyes sparkled at the mention of kachori, and she nodded enthusiastically, but Ranveer intervened, his voice firm but polite, "We've already eaten." Dhruvika's indulgence in street food at the mela and he was concerned it might upset her stomach.
The old woman's smile softly before she speaking"Okay, let me set up the bed, then." Dhruvika offered to help, and as she followed the old woman inside, Ranveer released her hand, staying behind with the old man.
As Dhruvika helped the old woman prepare the bed, she couldn't help but notice the sparse furnishings. There were only two rajais, two mats, and two pillows. The old woman smiled as she began to set up the bed, but Dhruvika's eyes narrowed, her gaze fixed on the meager bedding.
As the old woman reached for the pillow, Dhruvika stopped her, "Aunty, where's your pillow?" The old woman's smile faltered, and she replied, "It's okay... we can manage for one night..."
Dhruvika's expression turned firm, "No, aunty. You take them. We can manage." The old woman protested, but Dhruvika insisted, her voice gentle yet resolute, "No, aunty... you take them."
The old woman sighed, her eyes misting with gratitude, as she accepted Dhruvika's kindness.
They have two room house. After that Ranveer entered, Dhruvika was drinking water sitting on the bed.
Ranveer settled in beside Dhruvika. "Did you call the mechanic?" she asked, setting the bottle aside. He nodded, his eyes already drifting shut as he lay down.
Dhruvika sighed, attempting to get comfortable, but the lack of a pillow made it difficult. She shifted positions, searching for a way to relax, but nothing seemed to work. Frustrated, she sat up and scanned their surroundings for something to use as a makeshift pillow.
Ranveer, sensing her discomfort, opened his hand, offering it as a pillow. "You can sleep," he said softly. Dhruvika's gaze fell upon his hand, and a gentle smile spread across her face.
He thought she would sleep on his hand but instead of using his hand as a pillow, she surprised him by sleeping on his chest, wrapping her arms around him.
Ranveer's breath caught in his throat as he felt her warmth, her heartbeat synchronizing with his own. It was a foreign yet pleasant sensation, one that left him both calm and nervous.
It's first time he was getting this closer to any human. He lay there until heard soft snores.
He don't know what's he is doing but first time in his life he is going with flow. Doing something which making him feel good.
As he lay there, he became aware of Dhruvika's soft snores, and his own eyelids began to droop.
In his sleep, his arms instinctively wrapped around her, holding her close, protecting her.
Wrapped in each other's arms, Dhruvika and Ranveer slept peacefully, their slumber undisturbed by the unfamiliar surroundings of the small, humble room.
Dhruvika's angry voice echoed through the phone, "Why the hell aren't you publishing any news yet?"
"I need to be certain that the scandals stay in the headlines until the elections," Vidyut said from the opposition side.
"I told you it will st-"Dhruvika started to spoke but he cut her off
"Elections are getting postponed " Vidyut spoke
"What?" Dhruvika said
"Yeah the sec- nevermind " Vidyut stop knowing Dhruvika will not understand any single thing about politics neither he wants to loss his energy by making her understand
"Just say for some reason elections are going to happen next year... like after 10 months so I should utilise the information according to me"
"You jerk" Dhruvika spoke
"No profanity " Vidyut spoke. Dhruvika can assume he was smirking
"Look I need them to get published now... and about your benifits then I will give you more information during election now just published them" Dhruvika spoke controlling her anger.
The thing are going according to her ofcourse. Ranveer is changing but she can't trust the royal. It's been one month and this Vidyut isn't exposing the royal.
"Ummm but I need something else " Vidyut spoke he spoke like he was thinking
"What?" Dhruvika asked gritting her teeth
"I heard you don't broke your promise...real promise "Vidyut asked with a smirk
Dhruvika rolled her eyes but didn't spoke anything
"So I want a blank promise "
"What?"Dhruvika asked in confusion...he has gone mad may be...
"You heard me...a blank promise.. you have to help me according to that promise without a single question" Dhruvika wanted to punch on his face...all men are annoying... except her husband ofcourse
"Okay fine "
"Okay, then be ready with your remote and TV tomorrow morning at 7," Vidyut instructed.
Dhruvika about to end the call but heard..
"Whom you are talking"
It's Raghav uncle
"Dhruvika ,dad" Vidyut spoke without cutting the call
"Dhruvika...put it on speaker" Raghav asked with a soft voice
Vidyut did.
"Dhruvika beta'
"Yes uncle " her voice is soft unlike the the one with which she talked with Vidyut.
"Beta I fixed the date of inauguration..did you a-"
"Yes uncle I did..I was about to call you " Dhruvika sighed...she has forgotten to inform him.
"You did?" Raghav asked in surprised, taking the phone from his son who twisted his face seeing his father speaking so softly with that devil.
"Yes uncle.... It's the palace near the showroom "Dhruvika informed making them little shocked
"But that was Rathor's" Raghava asked...as much as he knows Aaryansh Raichand was the solo owner and there no way they can reach him... he is so anti social.
"I know but I already took the permission " Dhruvika spoke taking the tab . Already sending him the details.
"You have Aaryansh Raichand's contact" this time Vidyut asked . When her hand become so long? He thought .
"I have his wife's contact" Dhruvika spoke with a tight smile but then remember she was on call adjusted her face.
"Oo what they said?" Raghav asked . They have never met Aaryansh but as much as he knew he is very cold person.
"She said it's fine but don't use alcohol and nonveg in Party" Dhruvika replied remembering the humble wife of cold husband.
"I wasn't even planning to" Raghav spoke. They were strictly vegitarian.
"I know that's why I said okay" Dhruvika spoke
"Okay then you call your guests and I will call others "Raghav spoke
"Uncle...the showroom it yours. I am just a partner. So u invite your guests I am okay with it" Dhruvika spoke . She really don't want to engulf herself any other work.
"No no beta . I just shared you my thoughts but you arranged everything. From showroom to now party place. It's equally yours " Raghav spoke
"But ... okay then I will just invite dad and mom..I don't have many guests " Dhruvika replied with a sigh
"What about your husband ?"
everyone knew Dhruvika got married but they don't have much idea about her husband except few . She broke her marriage with Agastya then with whom she got married no-one knows. Neither she declared nor anyone else. They hide it according to their own reasons.
"Actually uncle he is little busy so " Dhruvika trailed her sentence
"Okay beta"Raghav didn't ask further. The reason Dhruvika like him a lot.
The office was abuzz with a sudden sense of urgency, like a storm had swept in. Hushed whispers filled the air as employees gathered in the waiting hall of Rawal's Office, their eyes fixed on the large TV screen.
"Did you see the news?" someone asked, their voice barely above a whisper.
"I just heard the headlines," another replied, their brow furrowed with concern.
